HOW TO EXCHANGE YOUR 500 & 1000 RUPEES NOTES


Prime minister Narendra Modi declared that currency notes of Rs 500, RS 1,000 denominations will not be valid from midnight on November 8, 2016. Citizens will have only 50 Days, till last day of December 2016 , to surrender the notes at banks and post office, Goverment hospitals will accept the RS 500, RS 1,000 notes.



  •  PM Announced ,  500 rupees and 1000 rupees banned from Midnight.
  •  ATM's wouldn't work on 9th and 10th November 2016. Rather the withdrawal limit is Rs. 2000 only per day.
  •  All Residents have option to deposit their existing cash balance of 500 and 1000 rupees in their bank accounts, till 30th December 2016.
  •  Goverment provides relief in some sector like hospitals and chemist,  train ticket booking  and airline ticket booking,  petrol pumps may accept the old notes  72 Hours more it  means  you will use your Rupees for booking and hospital payment till 11th November 2016. 
  • ATM withdrawal is limited it will be only  2000  for few days after 11th Nov it will 10000 per day.
  • There are no any changes in online .You can do your transactions through card, cheque       and  other  plastic money then you don,t  worry about currency.
  •  9th November 2016,  banks would be open for banking work nor for public banking       services.
